He was created and lived a short time so the image of his parents imprinted on his face may stand before Me as their personal intercessor. He knows secrets of heaven unknown to men on earth. He laughs with a special joy that only the innocent possess. My ways are not the ways of man. I create for My Kingdom and each creature fills a place in that Kingdom that could not be filled by another. He was created for My joy and his parents\u2019 merits. He has never seen pain or sin. Little Souls Cemetery™<\/h2>\n

St. Mary Cemetery has a Little Souls section where babies who were miscarried prior to 20 weeks gestation can be buried.<\/p>\n

Guidelines for Use of the Cemetery<\/strong>
\n– You or a relative must be a St. Mary Parishioner
\n– Your baby must be under 20 weeks gestation
\n– After your miscarriage, contact the parish office at 812-663-8427 to make arrangements for the burial of your baby.
\n– After burial, you can have an 8×8 inch granite marker engraved with the baby\u2019s name, date of death, and parents\u2019 names. A burial cannot occur without having a marker engraved.
\n– Burial vessels must fit inside a 6\u201d diameter by 12\u201d long cylinder burial vault.
\n– To facilitate grounds keeping, individual gravesite decorations are not permitted.
\n– You can have a simple gravesite blessing and burial service<\/p>\n

What if I Do Not Have My Baby\u2019s Remains?<\/strong>
\nYou can purchase a 4\u201dx 5\u201d porcelain plaque to be affixed to a monument in the Little Souls cemetery. Help for Recurrent Miscarriage or Infertility<\/strong>
