The Family that Walks Together
We’ve recently been reflecting on the number of walks that our family has taken together over the years, traipsing through the countryside behind our home, finding paths we had never hiked before. O...0 CommentsComment on Facebook
In late January, Pope Francis called for a Year of Prayer around the world. The purpose of the Year of Prayer is to guide Catholics throughout the world in a preparatory period for the Jubilee year, which will begin in December. Pope Francis has called for this Year of Prayer as a way to help all people prepare spiritually and reflect on the need for a regular, sustained, and profound prayer life. The Catholic Apostolate Center has created a new resource page dedicated to the Year of Prayer. The page features resources from the Center as well as the Vatican, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), and other trusted sources. This page will be updated regularly as new materials are being released from various sources.

Marriage Tip of the Month
Are you a "Doubting Thomas?" Sometimes we doubt our beloved's good intentions; sometimes we doubt our ability to live up to our commitments. Trust takes time, forgiveness and trying again. #marriagetip

My strength, the body and blood of Jesus.🙏👩
On Easter Sunday, Pope Francis released his Urbi et Orbi blessing during Mass at Saint Peter's Basilica. His message discussed a need for peace throughout the world, especially in the Middle East, Western Balkans, Haiti, Africa and Ukraine. Pope Francis continues by saying "On this day when we celebrate the life given us in the resurrection of the Son, let us remember the infinite love of God for each of us: a love that overcomes every limit and every weakness."
Pope Francis urges us all to welcome the peace of the Lord into our own lives, and to experience the joyful proclamation of Easter.

Marriage Tip of the Month
"Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone" (John 8:7). One can't be married without noticing the other's faults. Knowing our own faults, however, can help us be gentler toward our spouse. #marriagetip

RESERVE YOUR PARKING SPOT AT THE NEC
Hey friends, the National Eucharistic Congress will be here before we know it! And, we have some great news to share, and for you to pass along to everyone at your parishes. We can now reserve a parking spot during the Congress! See the link below for more info. Also, our good friend, Ken Ogorek, is reaching out to four parishes—a north, a south, an east and a west—to see if they’d be willing to let folks park there then carpool in to town. No shuttle busses will be provided. So, if you were undecided about coming to the Congress because of parking, hopefully, this will help your concern!
